A 19th Century Jewellery / Sewing box.

This box is of fine quality Intricately decorated with Rosewood, Amboyna wood and Mother of pearl inlay.

The condition of this box is excellent. The exterior still retains a level of gloss which makes the contrasting woods pop. The pearl Inlay proudly shines without damage.

Under close inspection some surface marking can be seen, also a scratch across the lid. There appears to be a subtle repair to the rear right corner.

The interior is presentable and usable however it would possibly benefit from a little cleaning amd and attention. Personally I have chosen to leave it original.

The Provided key works and locks the box. There is a small split to the keys handle however this does not effect its use.

Overall this is a fantastic piece of craftsmanship, I consider this box a real surviver and would make a statement piece in any setting.
