This is an antique Victorian velvet embroidered panel or runner measuring 21 inches in width and 70 inches in length. The panel is a reddish- purple color and features a floral pattern.  It is suitable for use on windows, walls, fabrics, and furniture, or possibly repurposed into a quilt or pillow top. The item has beautiful hand stitched embroidery.  It is not signed and was likely made between 1850-1899. The panel is a unique piece of Victorian-era decor. It definitely has some wear, there are two holes in each corner on one end, where it was likely hung at some point in it's history. The taupe color fabric lining on the reverse has water stains. The lining could be easily removed and replaced.
