There is a small dent on the top right and slight damage to the wood frame on the lower left. Otherwise, it is very clean.
We believe this is of very good quality, in excellent condition, and very rare. Since we have never used a reel-to-reel recorder before, we unfortunately don't know how to test it. It does power on, and we have no reason to believe it is defective or not working. We were not able to find anyone locally in San Diego who could test it. We were recommended to someone in Northridge California, but it's about an hour and a half each way. For that reason, we are going to sell it "as is - where is". This is quite heavy (47 lbs.) and we offer LOCAL PICKUP ONLY.
