The 8-group 10-element lens configuration, including two aspherical lenses, suppresses spherical aberration and curvature of the image plane by precisely controlling the aspherical lenses. The high resolution performance is demonstrated from the center to the periphery of the image, bringing out the full potential of the proprietary X-Trans CMOS sensor. It also enables close-up photography at a minimum distance of 17cm.
The compact and lightweight 155g model is also available. Its compact size, with an overall length of 45.4 mm, also allows for a high level of mobility. The use of metal parts for the exterior gives it a stylish design that is both luxurious and robust. The aperture ring and focus ring have a click feeling and a torque feeling with moderate weight for comfortable use.

Adopts an inner focus system that moves a compact and lightweight focus lens. The stepping motor, which is quiet and controllable, drives the lens, enabling faster and quieter AF.
High toughness to withstand various shooting environments
The lens barrel is sealed in nine places to resist dust and drips and is resistant to temperatures as low as -10°C. Combined with the X-Pro2, X-T2, X-T3, or X-H1 mirrorless digital camera (sold separately), the camera can be used in outdoor environments where there is light rain or dust.
