Rare Edouard Schenck hand forged wrought iron table lamp circa 1920

Edouard Schenck was a French designer/maker and grew up around his fathers jewelry store.... After the 1st world war he studied iron work before eventually working with glass maker Jacques Gruber to produce the dome of Galeries Lafayette...

This table lamp is in full working and working as can be seen although it is not pat tested which is a certificate of electrical safety but does work and is in excellent antique condition
