This is an antique, double page (centerfold), chromolithograph print (colored lithograph) from a political magazine that was quite popular in its day, PUCK, and very popular among political cartoon collectors today. This series of PUCK cartoons are clever, beautifully illustrated and provide an historical picture of the state of politics and social life in 1888.

CONDITION: EXCELLENT —  Clear, clean, colorful and bright; no foxing, tears, creasing or folds (other than the centerfold), and very good margins, perfect for framing. A really beautiful image. Nice dark lines and definition. 

This print is about 135 years old and guaranteed to be original. It’s an authentic old chromolithograph from the aforementioned publication, and not a modern reproduction.
