Subtitled "The Magazine of Airline Management", Air Transport World covers airlines, the manufacturers that supply them, the financial institutions that serve them, and the governments that regulate them. It features in-depth coverage of individual airlines, focusing on where they have been, where they are now and where they hope to go in the future. On average, ATW publishes 60 of these features yearly. ATW covers U.S. major and international airlines as well as various specialty carriers. The latest technology advances in airframes and engines are covered ? every major new transport aircraft being developed receives coverage, including information about the market it was designed for, who is buying it and why.

ATW provides continuous coverage of industry financing and how the changing nature of financing impacts future aircraft acquisitions. ATW also covers environmental regulations and challenges on safety issues. Also included are articles on airports, global organizations, information technology, management, avionics and aeropolitical interests.

ATW was launched in late 1963. It was founded and edited by Joseph Murphy who remained as editor and publisher of ATW until June 1977.

Hello Everyone!!!

I continue to winnow from my personal collection duplicate and/or unwanted airline/airport annual reports, books, magazines & timetables. Also, as is typical for most collectors, I've acquired many other items through happenstance. Thus, occasionally I'll list other forms of airline ephemera such as sick bags, playing cards, ticket jackets, etc.
