was one of a large group of Victory Ships named for American Cities.

This ship was launched on Nov 30, 1944 by Oregon Shipbuilding in Portland, OR

and named for the City of Longview, WA. 

This proud new ship transported vital supplies to US and Allied Forces during WW II.
