    Installation Steps:

     

    . The first one. Make sure the vehicle is parked on level ground and chock the wheels to prevent the vehicle from rolling.

    . Locate the tie rod end that needs to be replaced and remove the cotter pin and nut securing it to the knuckle or steering rack.

    . Using tie rod end removal tool, separate old tie rod end from steering knuckle or steering rack.

    . Thread the new tie rod end onto the knuckle or steering rack, making sure the nuts are tight.

    . Insert the new cotter pin and bend it to hold the nut in place.

    . Use the four-wheel alignment tool to adjust the toe-in or toe-in of the front wheel as required.

    . Test drive the vehicle to make sure the steering is functioning properly and the wheels are properly aligned correctly.
