Antique Wooden Needle Packet Display Box

English * 19th Century

This unusual antique box has a lot of potential. It was used as a display box in a store to sell needles. The rows inside are marked with the needle sizes and have slotted spaces to hold the needle packets. It came with the needle packets shown, mostly by E. J. Arnold & Son Ltd. The glass top has a crack but is just a rectangular piece of glass and would be easy to replace. The top has a crack at one edge and the bottom has a crack. If I had room to display this I would have it refinished with the cracks filled in.

The interior is perfect with all of its slots and no damage at all. The hinges are original and strong. It measures 10 3/8" long x 5 3/8" wide by 2 1/4" high. If you collect needle packets, this would make a great display case.

I stand behind everything that I offer and guarantee that it is exactly as presented.
