We are continuing to sell off a recently purchased large (very large) diecast collection of 1:24 scale Danbury & Franklin Mint cars.  All the cars we are selling this week and next were very well taken care of and kept securely in a locked showcase. They are in beautiful, undamaged, condition (unless otherwise noted). This auction features a 1:24th scale diecast replica of the 1965 Pontiac GTO hardtop, in Iris Mist (a silver, with a hint of lavender purple, color). It is in mint condition (has never been displayed, there is no damage) in the original Box, with  paperwork (Title). This diecast is now out of production. Vintage American Muscle Car, 8" long, is produced in exacting detail by Danbury Mint Diecast.

The Pontiac GTO is considered by many the first true muscle car. Pontiac saw the potential for dropping a big block engine into an intermediate frame and marketing it at a budget price, and thus, the Muscle Car industry was born.

This "Goat" is a beauty. Opening doors and trunk.  Hood opens to reveal detailed engine compartment, with the 389 Tri-Power V-8. Nice interior detail with readable dash gauges. Slotted Sport wheels Red Line tires. Now discontinued, it displays well and should make an excellent addition to your vintage "Classic American Muscle Car" memorabilia and GTO collectibles.
