Puzzle Doubles from The Learning Journey is a double-sided puzzle in one box! The Pirate Adventure has 30 total pieces and measures when finished 3 ft. x 2 ft. total. The educational benefits include language development (speaking, reading) and thinking/learning (cause-effect, problem solving). It is suitable for children 3 years and up.
First, it’s a giant full-color floor puzzle pirate ship for you to assemble. Place all the color pieces on the floor, colored side up, and assemble the puzzle. Once assembled, it becomes a “talk about” puzzle, as there are many images in the scene to promote parent-child conversation.
Second, place all the puzzle pieces with the white side up and have the child assemble the puzzle. Once assembled, it becomes a large coloring activity. Use the included four wipe-off crayons (blue, green, yellow, red) to color the images. When done, wipe off the crayons with a dry cloth, ready to play another day.
This new Puzzle Doubles is still sealed in the original factory package with a carry handle for easy storage and travel. It is in excellent condition.
