An Original Portrait of Sven Goran Eriksson, Oil on Board, By the renowned Hertfordshire artist Kathleen M Downing. The painted board measures 45.5 cm by 35.5 cm.  this painting was part of the artists’ private collection.

It is believed that Eriksson did not sit for the painting of his likeness but was aware that Kathleen was painting from her own photographs.

The painting was never intended to be sold and was kept in her private collection,  it was only released for sale due to the dispersal of her estate. 

Single pieces of Kathleen M Downing art work have achieved up to £500 + in recent years making this a sure and certain investment.

This is a ‘one of’ never to be repeated original that had been cared for and loved by the artist herself.

Hyperion Fine Art & Antiquities Dealers in St Ives, Cambridgeshire have affirmed the painting as painted by Kathleen M Downing and as being released from her estate.
