Nicely detailed, elaborate early to mid 19th century Persian erotic harem painting on book leaf .  Bright gauche colors over printed book page with printing on verso as well.  Paper shows considerable aging with chipping and tears at edges and tipped to old paper mount.  There are several small areas of paint rubbing near center.   Painting measures 9 1/2 x 6 inches on old paper mount that measures 13 1/2 x 10 3/4 inches.
