was one of a large group of Victory Ships named for American Cities.
This ship was launched on July 17, 1945 by Calif. Shipbuilding, in Los Angeles, CA
and named for the City of Roswell, New Mexico.
This ship transported vital supplies to US and Allied Forces during WW II.
