Each of these delightful carvings stands app. 6 3/4" tall and is carved from very hard, richly grained wood like rosewood.  They gentlemen ar heavily armed with rifles, belt knifes, bandoliers and ammo belts and wear an unusual hat that should tell those in the know their origin.One wears boots and his mate wears open toe sandals.  There is a chips to one base otherwise, they are in excellent condition.  The surface of the wood is highly polished and waxed.  They are likely early 20th century, but may be older.
