In addition to the new cartridge I'm including a partial cartridge that is also an HP 60XL black cartridge that I was using when my old HP printer finally gave out on me. I've bought a different model, so I have no use for these cartridges anymore. The used cartridge was originally bought along with the still packaged one, so it is fresh and it was around 1/2 full last I'd checked and before the printer went bad and I took it out of it. It had been printing fine and dandy. I have put tape over the printing part of the cartridge to try and make it last, but I can't guarantee how much use you'll get out of it. But I'm basically throwing it in with the new one and hoping you get some use out of it.
