Up for bid is a wonderful vintage crossover patriotic and Thanksgiving postcard.  This card features a colorful lithographic illustration of a turkey posing for his portrait as he spreads his tailfeathers as a Pilgrim man watches. A red, white and blue American flag ribbon separates them, and the scene is decorated with lovely blue forget-me-nots. A beautifully printed greeting appears on the ribbon. When you supersize image 1 you will see the terrific detail. The colors are very vivid and the artistry is just great!

Published by Sander, this beautifully embossed postcard has been posted and has a 1911 cancellation across the one-cent stamp on its divided back.   

Here is a wonderful 110 year-old card that is desirable in so many ways.  It will make a great addition to your Patriotic or Thanksgiving postcard collection.  Better bid now, before another collector takes it away forever.

CONDITION:  Expected light soiling with slight corner blunting.  A bit of surface and edge wear.  No creases, rips or stains. The tip of the upper-left corner is slightly bumped. Clear image and vivid colors. This 110 year-old paper antique presents beautifully.

Expected Payment:  Payment to be received within 7 days after close of auction.  Buyer pays S&H.

CAREFUL Packaging: Card is carefully placed in a protective, acid-free poly sleeve and then in a sturdy cardboard mailer for maximum protection.

FAST Shipping:  Items are shipped the next business day after payment clears.  Cards are sent 1^st class USPS mail which is usually very reliable. 

Combined auction shipping: You can save on S/H charges when you buy multiple auctions within a 7-day period and combine shipping. Auctions must be paid for in one payment and shipped together--please ask for a combined invoice before paying.
