TOMB OF THE KINGS JERUSALEM C1883 HAND COLOURED PHOTO Magic Lantern Slide

Produced by W C Hughes from the set " Holy Land ". I have dated these to around 1883, the year W C Hughes moved to 82 Mortimer Road and the fact I have handled others from his sets that were datable to the late 1870s and 1880's though its quite possible the images are earlier in date.

W C Hughes slide are hand tinted and the level of detail is supurb, in my opion one of the best.

The slide is approximately 8.2cm X 8.2cm or in inches 3.23" X 3.23"
