Gil Hibben Tundra Hunter Professional Fixed Blade

This knife was designed by master knife maker Gil Hibben, an avid hunter and fisherman.

His firsthand experience as an Alaskan hunting guide contributed to the design of this custom knife. It has a full-tang, think 6 1/2” razor-sharp 420HC stainless steel blade, complemented by a stainless steel guard and pommel.

The handsome CNC machined, layered Micarta handle scales have a knothole pattern and are secured to the tang by heavy-duty screws. The handle features ridges just below the handguard to improve control when using the knife.

The 11” overall length, fixed blade knife slides securely into a premium black leather belt sheath with a snap closure. When it comes to knives, Gil Hibben always knows exactly what you need!

As the curator of some of the most widely recognized knives in the industry today Gil Hibben’s knowledge and more than 60 years of experience are unprecedented in the world of custom knife making. He is the creator of the popular Rambo III series and Rambo IV machete, each separately made for the Sylvester Stallone films. He has also provided one-of-a-kind blades for personalities like John Wayne, Ellis Presley, Steve McQueen, and Stephen Stegall.

Gil produced knives for our serviceman to use in Vietnam and his first-hand experience as an Alaskan hunting guide, a throwing knife expert, and a six degree black belt in Kenpo karate have contributed to his creating some of the most popular knives of the 20^th century. Mr. Hibben was induced into the Cutlery Hall of Fame in 1990 and International Knife Throwers Hall of Fame in October 2003.
