This is an antique, double page, chromolithograph print from a political magazine that was quite popular in its day, PUCK, and very popular among political cartoon collectors today. This series of PUCK cartoons are clever, beautifully illustrated and provide an historical picture of the state of politics in 1884.

Condition: EXCELLENT / FINE  —  Clear, clean, colorful and bright; no foxing, creasing, tears or folds (other than the centerfold), and very good margins, perfect for framing. A really beautiful image. Nice dark lines and definition. There are NO HOLES IN THE CENTERFOLD, which is quite rare for these prints, given they were almost always collected and sewn together into large books.)

This print is about 135 years old and guaranteed to be original. It’s an authentic old chromolithograph from the aforementioned publication, and not a modern reproduction.

The print is 13" x 20 1/2" with nice large margins.
This print is truly ready to be framed and preserved.
