Hi and thanks for looking at my advert for my now lovely classic Mini Equinox.
I'm giving a lengthy description of the car and the work I have conducted on it over the last 12 months as I believe that if you are looking for a solid, sound, drive away today classic mini that has had a lot of recent TLC ,then you will appreciate the detail given here.

I purchased the car last June and started to repair and restore it as at that point it needed quite a bit of TLC. I recorded all the work carried out on a spreadsheet as I went along and have cut and pasted the work section as below ,(to save me typing it all out !).

Due to the 2nd and 3rd gears crunching,(common worn synchro rings), the engine was removed to have the gearbox professionally rebuilt and while it was out the engine the engine had various components replaced, as listed above, including the head being refurbished.
As you can see in the pictures, the boot area is very clean and solid and besides it's 5th minilite wheel also included is a new scissor jack and a small tool roll with a selection of classic tools in it. The boot is then nicely finished with a lining kit.
The interior is very tidy, although has signs of its age, but is fully original with its factory half black vinyl seats with purple Equinox inserts. A PO repair has been made to a rip in the drivers seat bolster. It has a new radio set to purple illumination to complement the purple Equinox seats.
The underside of the car, again as can be seen in the pictures, is very solid. Both front and rear subframes are rust free and sound and have been cleaned and protection treated with scultz underseal and stonechip. The front floor corners have been repaired and welded as these always rust through first as I'm sure you are aware.
The cills both sides are solid and again protected as the rest of the underside so will be solid for years to come.
The brakes have been fully refurbished again as you can see with new near shocks fitted and new front brake hoses and pipes.
The exhaust system from downpipe to tail pipe is New.
The bodywork, whilst overall sound, is where further improvements could be made if you so wish as she has some small areas of minor bubbling occurring along the front wing to scuttle panel joints, minor amount along front wing joint under the headlamps, and a small patch on the lower drivers door which is now bubbling a bit where a previous patch repair has been made. There is also some paint shading variance on this door and its adjoining front wing also. There are dinks and scratches here and there but she can be fully used as she is and improved as you go.
One door step cill was replaced in full and the other had a minor welded repair done as again these do commonly corrode over the years so no worries there now.
The car originally had an alarm system installed but this was disabled by a previous owner, (presumably as went the went wrong they were a nightmare), but the fobs are still with car should anyone wish to reinstate it.
Four brand new tyres have been fitted with less than 50 miles on them so far, so again no worries re tyres for thousands of miles to come. I do also have the original steel wheels that can go with the car if you wish.
There is a reasonable amount of previous history documents, invoices, mot's, etc along with its original book folder with its service book etc in it. Along with this all my invoices for parts bought during my works are supplied aswell, again as can be seen in the pictures.
I have many pictures of the work conducted, which I will place on a memory stick for the new owner so they have it to retain and keep with the history of the car.

The mini has this week passed its MOT so has a full 12 months ticket and she has just over 60,000 miles on her clock.

In summary, she is now back on the road in very good condition, not perfect yet, (as is reflected in the asking price),and more improvements could be carried out, but she is ready for someone to enjoy again and take to car shows this summer.

Please do not hesitate to contact me for further information or to arrange a viewing. I'm based in north Coventry in CV7 area.

Thanks for looking !

Kind Regards.
