Nickel Comics was an experiment by Fawcett - half as thick as their typical comics, costing half as much, and coming out twice as often. The Red Gaucho is framed for criminal acts, and realizes he has a sinister double. Warlock the Wizard discovers Killer Staley hiding out in a tourist trap in Geyser Park. Captain Venture faces the Valhoes to enact the Liberation of Camur, in a story with some groovy, otherworldly Basil Wolverton-style art by Rafael Astarita.
