If you like to go fast, Blizzard Firebird WRC is a great choice.  All of Blizzard's best technology in one amazing ski.  No compromises.  World Cup construction, Marker race plate interface with Piston dampening built in, and now featuring Blizzard's unique C Armor and C Spine engineering for the ultimate in edge hold and high speed stability.

C Armor is is a layer of bi-directional graphite that is positioned in the center of the ski, under the binding plate.  This graphite right under the feet increases edge hold and stability in the middle phase of the turn, as the ski is hooked up in the carve, and provides maximum power just when you need it most.  C Spine is another 2 layers of graphite material, running vertically down the center of the core, tip to tail.  This vertical graphite beam increases rebound at the end of the turn, providing maximum edge to edge responsiveness.  No other ski on the market except Firebird offers one of these additional engineered advantages, let alone both of them.

The Firebird WRC is built with Blizzard's powerful World Cup construction;  full wood core, ABS sidewalls, two sheets of Titanal.  And then it is topped off with Marker's amazing Piston Plate binding interface.  A binding race plate is intended to reduce vibration, helping keep the ski's edge in contact with the snow.  But, Marker takes that one step further with a hydraulic piston built in.  As the ski flexes, the Piston provides no resistance.  But, when the skier's pressure is released at the end of the turn, the Piston provides resistance to eliminate cycles of counter flexing/flexing as the ski changes edges.  Vibration is filtered out, chatter is reduced, and the ski feels amazingly smooth and ready to hook up with the snow as it is placed onto the new edge.

This ski's race plate requires a Marker XCell binding, and it is matched up here with the new Marker XCell 12.0 GW.  This binding is a perfect match to the ski, and can accommodate standard Alpine boot soles, as well as the new Grip Walk boots just coming onto the market.  You probably do not own a GW boot now, but you most likely will own one in the future.  This binding is compatible no matter which boot type you might ever have.

ensure that end result, this item is eligible for exchange or return to Proskiguy within
7 days of receipt by the buyer. If you wish to return or exchange this item, here is
what you need to know.

RETURN FOR EXCHANGE
• Buyer is responsible for return shipping
• Buyer must request a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER (RA#) from Proskiguy
and display it on the outside of the box, next to the shipping label in large block
print.
• In an exchange transaction, buyer will be responsible for actual shipping cost of
replacement item from Proskiguy.
• Original outbound shipping cost from Proskiguy on the return for exchange item
will be forgiven.
• All exchanged items must be in their original condition, with original packaging
and all factory tags and labels still attached.
• Return for exchange will usually not be allowed on skis when our premount
service was chosen, and so have their bindings installed on the skis. Contact us if
you wish to exchange premounted skis, as we can sometimes make exceptions.

RETURN FOR REFUND
• Buyer is responsible for return shipping
• BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR COST OF OUTBOUND SHIPPING. Original outbound
shipping cost from Proskiguy to buyer will be subtracted from the refund amount.
Even if the item was sold with free shipping, this actual cost of shipping will not be
refunded.
• Buyer must request a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER (RA#) from Proskiguy
and display it on the outside of the box, next to the shipping label in large block print.
• Refund will be issued in the same form as the original payment. If purchase
payment was made via PayPal, the refund will be processed through PayPal. If
payment was made via phone using a credit card, refund will be processed through
our in store terminal directly to that same credit card.
• All exchanged items must be in their original condition, with original packaging
and all factory tags and labels still attached.
• Return for refund will not be allowed on skis where our premount service was
chosen, and so have their  bindings installed on the skis.
• Any item returned for refund may be subject to a restock fee. If that is the case,
we will let you know what that fee will be when the RA# request is received.

WARRANTY ISSUES
If you believe you have a warranty issue, we want to help. Drop us an email or give
us a call and explain your problem. We believe it is our job to act as your advocate
in the event of a product failure. However, warranty decisions are solely made by
the manufacturer of the item. Only the manufacturer can decide if a warranty claim
is valid, and how to satisfy that claim. But, we are here to help you, and will do our
best to get your product problem solved.
