Preface

CUBE BABY is a portable and multifunctional guitar effector.It has 3 editable presets,the users also can customize effectors chain and save.CUBE BABY has built-in battery,it has9 Preamp selection slots, Chorus,Phaser,Delay,Reverb,8IR CAB slots and a Tuner.Beside,it support mobile phone recording jack,BT,and computer sound card. It integrates a variety of function,it is easy-carry and it has excellent sound!It could be a good partner of your guitar.

The Power Supply

l  lt is equipped with built-in battery for power supply,which can last for 6 hours after full charge.

l  lt can charge with the 5V adapter or the power bank.

l  When the battery run low,you can use the DC 5V/2A adapter,you need 2 hours to fully charge the battery.

Effectors Module

Attention: Please make sure that CUBE BABY is in LIVE mode, then you can listening-test the 1-5 items of effectors below.

1.PREAMP

2.MOD

l  MOD knob: the left half circle is used for CHORUS,the right half circle is used for PHASER.When the knob is at middle,the indicator turned off,it means the MOD has been turned off.

3.DELAY

l  TIME knob: Adjust feedback speed of echo repeats of delay.

l  FB knob: Adjust the number of echo repeats of delay.

l  MIX knob: Adjust the ratio of wet and dry of delay.When the knob is set to the far left,the MIX indicator turned off,it means the DELAY has been turned off,and these three indicators of DELAY have been turned off at same time.

4.REVERB

l  REVERB knob: Adjust the radio of wet and dry of reverb.When the knob is set to the far left,the indicator turning off,it means the REVERB has been turned off.

5.IR CAB

l  IR CAB knob: Select the types of IR CAB.A total of 9slots,the first slot means the IR has been turned off;the 2-9 slots are 8 types of IR CAB.

l  You can import the IR files to CUBE BABY on computer.The previously IR will overwritten with the current IR.

6.  TUNER

In TUNER mode,these six knobs represent the six strings of the guitar. When you turning the string,the corresponding knob indicator will light on.

In TUNER mode,when you turning the string,these three knobs show the pitch:

l  The     indicator lighting up means the string is pitching too low;

l  The indicator lighting up means the string is at the correct pitch;

l  The     indicator lighting up means the string is pitching too high.

Press and hold the B+C footswitchs at the same time for 2 seconds to enter TUNER mode.

7.BT

l  This product supports BT,you can press and hold the "A+B" footswitchs at the same time for 2 seconds to turn on/offBT.When the indicator lighting up blue,it means the BT has been connected, then your phone can play music to the CUBE BABY.When the indicator flashing blue,it means that BT is turning on,but not in connection.

8.Mobile Phone recording

l  This product supports phone recording function,you can use the recording cable to connect the Phone and CUBE BABY,then you can use your Phone to get a high quality recording.

LIVE/PRESET/EDIT Mode

l  CUBE BABY has three operation modes,LIVE mode is real-time performance mode,EDIT mode is use for edit the three presets,PRESET mode is the most common state for performance.The initial power-on default enters PRESET mode, tap the combination nail "B+C" for LIVE mode,or tap the combination nail "A+B" for EDIT mode.

l  PRESET mode is the most normal playing state,you can use LIVE or EDIT to edit and save three presets,then Three presets can be used by free footswitchs conveniently in PRESET mode.

l  In LIVE mode,visual operations can be performed,knob timbre effect is what you see is what you get,it is suitable for you to customize a effectors chain.You can use the knobs to improvise the timbre when you performing.

l  In EDIT mode,you can fine-tune and edit 3 groups of presets, better for contrast with other preset tones.

A. Function Introduction of PRESET mode.

l  In PRESET mode,the VOLUME knob is the final output volume value,you can listen and use the three PRESETS in real time,but you cannot use knobs to edit timbre.The A/B/C footswitchs represent 3 PRESETS,when the PRESET had been selected,the corresponding footswitch-indicator lightting on.If all three indicators are off,the device is in Bypass.

B.Function Introduction of LIVE mode.

l  When enter LIVE mode,the default final output volume value in this mode is 80%,the VOLUME knob is use for adjust the level of current effectors chain.

l  In LIVE mode,the A/B/C footswitchs can use to open/close the corresponding effect module,the corresponding footswitch-indicator light is flashing/went off.Users can customize the effectors chain,then press and hold the A/B/C to save.

l  In LIVE mode,the knob lights have only 2 states:lighting on/went off.lf the knob light is off,it means that the effect of this knob is not on;lf the knob light is on,it means that the effect has been turned on, and the knob timbre effect is what you see is what you get.

C.Function Introduction of EDIT mode.

l  Switch to EDIT mode when you tap A+B,the machine will retain the data in the corresponding knobs before switching.

l  In EDIT mode,the machine always retain the output volume value before switching to EIDT.

l  The knob lights have only 3 states:lighting on/went off/flashing.lf the knob light is off,it means that the effect of this knob is not on;lf the knob light is on,it means that the effect has been turned on,and the knob timbre effect is what you see is what you get;lf the knob light flashing,it means that the effect has been turned on,but the knob timbre what you get is diffrent from what you see.

l  After you turn the knob,the flashing knob light will become lighting on,The previously data will overwritten with the current knob value.When the knob light lighting on,the knob timbre effect is what you see is what you get.

l  In EDIT mode,the machine always retain the output volume value before switching,the VOLUME knob is use for adjust the level of current effectors chain.

l  After editing the effectors chain,then switch to PRESET mode,the VOLUME knob become the final output volume value.Therefore,it is recommended that after exiting EDIT mode,users immediately turn the volume knob to the position before entering EDIT mode.So that you can restore the output volume value of the previous performing.

l  In EDIT mode,theA/B/C footswitchs can use for opening/closing the corresponding effect module,the corresponding footswitch- indicator light is flashing/went off.Users can fine-tune and edit 3 groups of PRESETS,then press and hold the A/B/C to save.

How To Customize A Effectors Chain

Let's try to customize a effectors chain similar to Preset“A”.

1.When CUBE-BABY is turned on,tap the "B+C" to enter the LIVE mode.Then you need to turn off all the effectors,so that all the knob indicators had been turned off (eccept theVOLUME knob).Next step,you can turn the VOLUME knob to the value you like.

2.Tap the C footswitch to turn on the TONE+AMP mudle,turn the TYPE knob to the 8th slot,so we had select the "Wo Stone Coral OD".Then,turn the GAIN knob to the 4 o'clock position,and turn the TONE knob to the value you like.

3. Tap the B footswitch to turn on the MOD+DELAY mudle.We don't need the MOD,so let's turn the MOD knob to the 12 o'clock position. Then,let's turn the MIX knob to 10 o'clock position to turn on the DELAY effector.Next step,turn the FB knob to 11 o'clock position, turn the TIME knob to 3 o'clock position.

4. Tap the A footswitch to turn on the IR CAB+REVERB mudle.Turn the REVERB knob to 10 o'clock position,then turn the IR CAB knob to the 5th slot,so we had select the "VHT Deliverance".

5. Then let's adjust the level of current effectors chain,turn the VOLUME knob to the value you like.

6. At this time,we had customized a effectors chain,then let's press and hold the A footswitch for 2 second to save it to PRESETA.

7. Let's tap the "B+C" to enter the PRESET mode.You can use the new PRESET A now.

The Software Interface

1.IR EDITOR

①IR files searching button:you can use it to find the IR on your computer.

②IR files display interface:here is the IR files you had selected,you can click and listen it.

③ Microphone distance simulator:you can adjust the distance of microphone to speaker.When the distance closer,the sound

louder;when the distance farther,the sound lower.SO,what you need to attention is:When the distance is100%,you couldn't hear the voice.

④IR saving location:you can use it to select the 1-8 location of IR slots of CUBE BABY.

⑤Save button:click this button to save.

⑥ The IR Factory reset option.

⑦ Click this button to Factory reset the parameters of 3 PRESETS.

2. PRESETS PARAMETERS EDITOR

①Select the Preset you need to edit.At this time,if the software and CUBE BABY are in the same Preset,you can hear the real-time sound of editing.

② Adjust the level of current effectors chain.

③ Adjust the IR CAB.

④ Adjust the REVERB.

⑤ Adjust the ratio of wet and dry of DELAY.

⑥ Adjust the number of echo repeats of DELAY.

⑦ Adjust feedback speed of echo repeats of DELAY.

⑧ MOD effector editor:0-6 is use to edit the CHORUS,7-8 is use to turn off MOD,9-15 is use to edit the PHASER.

⑨Adjust the brightness.

⑩Adjust the gian.

⑪Select the types of Preamp.

⑫ Save button:click this button to save the PRESET.
