Brand new Top Engine Mounting For to fit:
Classic V70 2000 onwards S60 V70 and S80 with the same mounting bracket as shown in the picture. (This will not fit diesel engines, if you have a diesel engine please see our shop for the correct part.)
The purpose of this mounting is to prevent the engine from rocking backwards and forwards when you accelerate and decelerate.
The bush is a very common cause of premature wear on the very expensive lower engine mountings, the bush starts to split allowing excessive movement of the top of the engine whilst driving. This is the latest Mounting with a modified bush to increase the life of the mounting.
The most common symptom being a clonking sound when you accelerate from a stationary position. This replacement bush will relieve the incredible stresses and strain put on the lower engine mountings and prolong there life.
The job itself is certainly not difficult and should be easily completed by any DIY enthusiast in little time.
