RARE Peerless WW2 Bomber Air Tank 0-506-1 Type A-13 Regulator Oxygen Demand B-17 B-29

From WWII, we have a very cool rare oxygen tank with regulator for sale. In used condition with rusting, paint fading, paint chipping, some dents and dings. Glass on the pressure gauge is intact. Any printed writing on the green tank has since faded away. Was used by US Air Force bomber crews to walk around the plane in none fixed oxygen areas / or in an emergency by attaching to their belt/clothing using the crocodile clip on the back. Used in various bombers including the B-29 Superfortress. The regulator is marked “Peerless of America, Inc Marion, Ind.” and stamped with a serial number of AC-42-36988. The tank top portion has engraved numbers & letters, one side notes AC42 and then 039400 under that. On the other side of the tank top is engraved “POA” for Peerless of America and a 7 on one side and 43 on the opposite side. Possibly a clue to the year 1943. Unsure if this unit saw action or sat around a supply warehouse until post war. There’s a little debris inside the unit that rattles around, possibly the rust/metal chips. Please review all 24 photos and ask any questions. Will be carefully packaged and shipped to you. Thank you for looking.
