BRIDAL GOWN:
Based on the measurements, my best guess is this is a current size 6-8 (see measurements below)
Probably hand made
Off-white satin
Long sleeves with 3 buttons on each
Sweetheart neckline embellished with lace applique and small pearls
Sheer lace front and back yoke
Empire waist with princess seaming that falls to a full A-line silhouette
Long train
Princess seaming
Fastens in the back with 33 satin covered buttons (no missing buttons)
Additional buttons at the back waist for bustling the long train
Measurements:
Bust: 34 inches around
Waist: 27 inches around
Sleeves: 22 inches long (Measured from seam where they are set in)
Length: 52 inches (measured at the side seam from underarm to bottom hem)
Back length: 16 inches (measured from back neck edge to waist)
Back length: 108 inches (measured from back neck edge to bottom edge of long train)
VEIL:
Juliette cap
Satin strips in basket weave pattern on the top of the cap.
2 layer fingertip veil has a finished edge and is accented with tiny pearls
Layer 1 measures 23 inches long
Layer 2 measures 35 inches long
There is a short tulle "poof" attached to the back of the cap
Long and dramatic cathedral length veil is attached and measures 130 inches long
There are some dirt spots on the bottom edge of this lovely gown.
Although this dress is used, it is in very nice condition with no damage that I could detect.
