This real photo postcard hails from Oregon Illinois and features a huge concrete statue named Black Hawk. It was planned and constructed by Lorado Taft and students from the Eagles Nest Art Colony. Look closely and you can see a man standing at the base of the statue, to give you an idea of size. Enjoy!
