This sale is for a large size vintage hardback FIRST EDITION entitled “Queen Caroline,” by His Honour Sir Edward Parry, with 8 illustrations, including a frontispiece portrait of Caroline, Princess of Wales.

It was published by Ernest Benn Ltd., of London, in MCMXXX and is the 1930 FIRST EDITION (stated).

Caroline of Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel (Caroline Amelia Elizabeth - later Queen Caroline 1768-1821) was the wife of King George IV of Great Britain from 1795, and his (estranged) queen consort from 29^th January, 1820 until her death in 1821.

The book measures 9.75 inches x 6.75 inches x 1.75 inches thick! and has 353 pages + illustrations. 

The book is in good, neat condition for its age, with wear/scuffs to the ends of the faded spine of the original cloth hardback cover, with a previous owner’s gift inscription at the front, foxing near the covers/rims, and no other ink or pencil markings in the book. The binding is good with no loose or missing pages.  There is no dust-jacket.
