Rebound in a full leather 19th century binding with patterned boards and raised bands to the spine with label to the panel and gilt lettering to the label, blind stamped decoration ot the panels and top panel with repair. please see photos. Marble ned papers and paste downs, clean end papers, no previous owners names or bookplates, Illustrated title page is laid down ?  Starts at A2 "to the reader" + A3/A4 + Preface + 1-524pp + 20 pp index, index repaired and with marks - please see photos. some other repairs through the book however majority clean and in good order. A scarce item .
