This is a collection of eight vintage 10" art glass plates made of glass with floral theme (unique to his form). The plates were created in the 1950s by American artist Edwin Walter of Troy, Alabama and each plate is signed by the artist. The plates feature fused art glass and are each unique in color form and subject, yet complimentary as a set.
7 of the pieces are without flaw, each with characteristic bubbles and free form. One of the plates has a hairline crack in one of the large bubbles (see pics).
This artist was certainly well ahead of his time in art theme, style and technique. They are relevant and stunning still today.
These plates are highly collectible and of heirloom quality.

Certainly for decorative use or those special family occasions and holiday events. Bridal shower, baby shower, Easter, Mothers Day, etc.
