~ July 2 vs Kansas City Royals. The Royals won 9-7 as Carlos Beltran hit a 3 run double in the 10th inning. Jermaine Dye hit 2 homers for KC. Cleveland HOFer Roberto Alomar homered and drove in 2 as did Jim Thome, Manny Ramirez was hitless.
~ August 31 vs Anaheim Angels. The Indians won 14-12 as Richie Sexton homered, had 4 hits and 5 rbis. HOFers Jim Thome hit the 199th homer of his career, Roberto Alomar had 3 hits and 2 rbis and Harold Baines had a 2 run single. Troy Glaus hit 2 hrs and Tim Salmon one for the Angels

HOFer Mariano Rivera threw a scoreless inning. The Indians HOFer Jim Thome hit the 205th career homer, Richie Sexton homered and Manny Ramirez hit the 194th homer of his career.
