Unusual Kokeshi doll made in the 1950s or 1960s Young girl doll wearing black and scarf. Signed on the underside in black ink - appears to be Masao Watanbe. Very good condition --- has a small light red smudge on the back of the doll. Please see photos for additional details. Comes with original box -- the bottom part of the box is in good condition, the cover corners are all split. On the interior of the cover in pencil "Snow Country". 7 3/4" tall x 3 1/4" in diameter at the base. Light surface dirt from being displayed.
