Wonderful clown real photo postcard by French photographer Henri Manuel, Paris. This image depicts the clown taking a break behind the scenes. The detail of the costume and shoes is fantastic. Most of the photographic plates were destroyed in the war.
Front is very sharp but a bit yellowed from age as shown in the first listing photo. (Not white like the closeups). Minimal edge & corner wear. There is album discoloration on the back. Unused and unposted.
