This jewelry box is beautiful, but not perfect.  The wind up music works great as soon as you open the lid.  As you can see from the photos, there are some nicks around the edges of the lid and a few elsewhere.   The mirror has some marks on it that I was not able to get off.  The interior is in very nice condition.  The box measures 13" long, 8.5" deep and 5.5" high.  It appears to be hand painted with  inlays of mother of pearl.  The interior is a blue felt type material.
