1925 Early photograph of up and coming boxer Steve Smith who was known as the "Bridgeport Bearcat" and capturing him in a fight pose. He would fight over 150 times in his career and was a mainstay on the circuit for over a decade. A bold image in great shape of a rare fighter. Looks like he fought Kid Chocolate about six times and never was knocked out, but never won either!
