Victorian Sterling silver and gold gilt bon bon dish/basket, having an hallmarked swing handle, a boat shaped pierced body with engraved decorations, a vacant cartouche in one side, and a faux tortoiseshell base inlaid with a silver pique decoration.
The basket is fully hallmarked for London,1891, the maker mark is for Henry Wilkinson & Co.
In good conditions, with general wear to the gold gilt, no damages or repair, the faux tortoiseshell has beautiful colours and is in perfect conditions.
Hallmarks are quite worn but still readable.
