We are pleased to offer this lovely round lusterware porcelain vegetable or salad bowl manufactured in Japan. Its white center is surrounded by multicolored, hand painted flowers on an orange/copper luster background with a scalloped swirl edge at the rim. It has two pierced holes on each side and most likely once had a handle.

It measures 7-1/4" wide and stands 2-1/4" tall. Its bottom is marked in orange with printed "Made in Japan." It has two paint drips on the outside edge; otherwise it is in excellent condition with no nicks, crazing, stains, wear or cracks. Its colorful design has been well protected by its glossy glaze. Just a striking decorative iridescent Japanese serving bowl that you are sure to want to add to your collection - perfect for display when not in use.
