French Quimper Style Breton Woman Vinegar Cruet w Cork Stopper

 We are pleased to offer this adorable ceramic vinegar cruet manufactured for importers Lipper & Mann Inc (L&M Inc) in Japan. It is hand painted in the   French Quimper style featuring a Breton woman sitting in profile on rocks in the garden or countryside. She is dressed in traditional French Brittany provincial folk attire. The cruet's back pictures a pink & gold fruit with brown stem and green leaves. The yellow neck with brown accents has horizontal embossing that resembles wrapped cord. The matching oil cruet most likely pictures the Breton man also sitting on a rock. 

This handled cruet stands 6-1/4" tall. It comes with a new cork stopper - ready to use. It is in very good condition - one fine hairline on the left side and very light overall crazing from age. It still displays nicely. Just a lovely piece of Quimper style ceramics that would make a lovely addition to your collection.
