Atlas Globe Universal Pottery Mt Vernon MUMS Soup Bowl

We are pleased to offer this lovely unmarked soup bowl manufactured by the Atlas Globe China Company, Cambridge/Niles, Ohio circa 1925-1934 on the Mt/Mount Vernon shape with embossed panels in the mold. This same blank was used by the Universal Potteries Company in 1935 when Universal bought Atlas Globe out. Then Universal restyled the earlier Atlas-Globe Broadway shape. This pattern features a floral design on a pink background with platinum trim . A cup in this pattern is pictured on page 33 of Timothy J Smith's "Universal Dinnerware and Its Predecessors: Cambridge Art Pottery, Guernsey Earthenware, Oxford Pottery, Atlas-Globe" reference guide. This pattern features yellow and purple mums with rust/orange flowers on a pink background. This soup bowl measures 7 5/8" in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks. Just a lovely piece of vintage Atlas Globe China that you are sure to want to add to your dinnerware collection. Thanks for viewing our sale. If you have any questions, feel free to email. Good luck and happy Ebay shopping.
