We are pleased to offer this lovely little Japanese porcelain pin dish manufactured for a woman's dressing table -most likely in Kutani circa 1920s. It features a hand painted duck with 22k gold accents standing near water with a mountain in the background. It has a tree with white and 22k gold enameled cherry blossoms on the right. 

It is marked on the bottom with Japanese characters inside a frame that read Kyokuzan meaning 'morning sun mountain'. It measures 3-5/8" in diameter. It has some very fine crazing from age (extremely minor); otherwise it is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks. Just a lovely piece of vintage Kutani porcelain that you are sure to want to add to your collection.
