Antique Japanese Porcelain Nippon JE-OH Hand Painted Nagoya Seito Pitcher.

We are  pleased to offer this lovely unmarked fine porcelain Nippon JE-OH pitcher manufactured by Nagoya Seito in Japan circa 1906-1911. It would make a gorgeous vase for an assortment of long stemmed flowers. It features a dark cobalt band at the bottom, on the top edge and handle with gold spiraled accents. It has hand painted large purple & pink white tinged flowers surrounded by green foliage on a white background with a smaller version on the opposite side. It has a decorative, ornate scrolled handle - very fancy.

This 32 oz pitcher stands 7-1/4" tall. It is glazed on the interior with the exception of a small band just inside the rim. It may have had a lid at one time, but it works very well as a pitcher. It does not have a ridge inside for a lid to sit on.

It has a few little manufacturing impressed dots in the glaze (extremely minor); otherwise it is in excellent condition with no nicks, cracks, or crazing. Just a beautiful piece of vintage eggshell Japanese porcelain that you are sure to want to add to your Nippon collection.
