We are pleased to offer this lovely #R-105 clear pressed glass GENIE liquor bottle manufactured by the Owens Illinois Glass Company prior to 1964. It originally held Smirnoff Vodka. It can be refilled and used as an attractive decanter or wine bottle at your bar.

 It features a flashed purple amethyst, iridescent luster ware band around its neck. It has a diamond design below the neck and on the Turkish minaret shaped stopper. It has vertical ribs around its sides with the exception of a plain area on the front for a label. This plain area is edged with a draped curtain design.

The empty liquor decanter is marked "Federal law forbids sale or reuse of this bottle." All OI bottles made up until 1964 were required to have this warning.  It is also marked with the letter I in a circle  used after Illinois and Ohio Glass joined. 58-57 is a liquor permit number used by OI at one of its various plants. R-105 is a rectifier number. The distiller number begins with a D and the import number begins with an I.  

It stands 12-1/2" tall with the stopper in place . It measures about 4-1/2" wide and 2-3/4" deep.  It is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks. Just a unique vintage decanter bottle that you are sure to want to add to your barware collection.
