Japanese Porcelain Metallic Gold Swirl Coffee Pot & Sugar Bowl w Lids - Japan

 We are pleased to offer this lovely lusterware porcelain coffee pot/teapot and matching sugar bowl with lids manufactured in Japan circa late 1950s-1960s. They were part of a tea set that included demitasse cups and saucers. They feature a shiny gold metallic glaze on a swirled background - very rich looking. The interiors are glazed in a metallic silver.

The 28 oz coffee pot stands 7" tall without the cover in place and 7-3/4" with. The round sugar bowl stands 3-3/4" tall and measures 5" wide from handle to handle. The bottom of the coffee pot has a blue oval paper label that reads "Japan."  Both pieces are in excellent condition with no nicks, chips, or cracks. Just beautiful pieces of vintage Japanese lusterware that you are sure to want to add to your collection.
