Matthew Henson
Vintage original bust of African American man Matthew Henson who was the first man to locate and stand on the North Pole. This sculpture was one of a series of famous African Americans created by artist Inge Hardison for Old Taylor Whiskey's Ingenious Americans promotion. It is about 8.5" tall. IT's in good shape with some
white staining and other wear from age and use. It is missing the sticker on the front of the base, but it does have the bottom one telling who the subject is.
