Holmgaard smokey colored ball shaped vase with partial original paper label and an etched, "Holmgaard, 1959, PL" on the bottom. The piece is 4 7/8" tall, 5 1/2" in diameter, 1 1/2" across the ground foot, with a 1" top opening. The vase weighs 1 pound 4 ounces and the 1959 on the bottom is split with a lapped "L" and "P" for Per Lutken the designer of the vase. The piece is solid smokey gray colored glass with a ground pontil on the bottom which has the etch marking inside it. There is some light residue from use on the interior that should clean up as flower stems have left trails through it, with no other marks or blemishes on the vase, please note the object on the base in photo seven was a hair not a scratch in the vase.
