Here are 3 old, black & white photos, two of a bar, with the patrons leaning against the bar and one larger one of 4 bartenders.  I don't think the larger photo is of the same bar as in the smaller photos.  First the larger photo features 4 bartenders in white shirts, ties and white aprons standing behind a bar, there are several glasses in front of them and signs above the bar for Calvert Reserve and another that reads: We Feature Quality Brands.  Between the men there is a bottle sitting in back but I can't read the label.  Another sign off to the sign advertises Three Feathers a brand of liquor.  This photo measures 10 x 8 inches and has stamped on the back of it: PHOTO BY FRANKLIN S. REINHART Phone 2-4033 Reading, Pa Jan. 8 1946.  The other two photos measure 6 x 4 inches and have nothing stamped on them, but they came in a large envelope with the larger photo, in a box of many other photos from Reading.  These two photos feature a photo of the bar with the men's faces showing, there are 11 men at the bar and one bartender behind it.    There is a wooden box with bottles in it at the end of the counter that reads READING BEER ALE PORTER.  I can't read what is on the labels on the bottles that the men are drinking from.  The other photo is of the bar, but in this photo the patrons all have their backs to the camera, I think it is showing the tables as well as the bar.  Looks to be 5 men at the bar, maybe a few more and the bartender.  Looks like an old radio at the end of the bar and you can see part of a U.S. flag in the upper corner.  the photos are nice and clear, but do have some wear from age and storage.  The photo of the 3 bartenders has two peeled areas, one above the heads of the two men in the middle and one in the second man's shirt.  The shirt is white and so is the peeled area, but there is a mark under it that can be seen.  The corners of the photos are somewhat sticky, I think they had been taped into a frame or album at one time.  Neat old photos, would make a great research project for the local historian.  Postage will be 4.70 to the U.S.  IF OUTSIDE THE U. S., PLEASE USE THE POSTAL CALCULATOR TO DETERMINE THE COST OF POSTAGE.  If you like old photographs and ephemera, please check out my EBay store and the other old photos I have listed.  Many different subjects, time periods and places!  I mail all my old photos in padded envelopes with cardboard to keep them from being bent.  Thank you!
