This is a vintage Singer model 327K Spartan sewing machine.  It was made in Great Britain.  Originally the Spartan was intended to be a low cost sewing machine to compete with the 301 and 400 series Singers.  It turned out to be quite a popular machine.  Maybe because Singer finally realized colors were popular with people.  I bought this from the husband of a seamstress.  She had half a dozen machines but this was her favorite according to her husband so he held it to the last.  It has a working light.  .95 amp motor.

According to the manual..."You have a dependable, smooth running zigzag sewing machine that is outstanding in its simplicity of operation.  You can overcast a seam, make a buttonhole or satin stitch a decorative applique.  Then, switch instantly to straight stitching for seaming, machine basting or darning."  Drop in bobbin located in front of needle, single turn tension, clamp-type throat plate.  The machine is very clean inside and out.  I oiled and greased it at the recommended points.  On top of the machine, there are a series of holes.  These are "weep holes."  This is where you oil the machine.  Depending on how much you sew, put one to three drops in these holes.  Free shipping is for the contiguous states.  Please no post office boxes.  The machine comes with the following;
