Steve Young was originally drafted by Tampa Bay Buccaneers  and after two poor seasons was traded to the San Francisco 49ers. But on the 49ers found that he was now a backup to Joe Montana for a number of years. Once Montana was traded to KC it gave Steve a chance to play full time. He took advantage of the opportunity and it got him to the Super Bowl 29.

Steve Young played a critical part in the SF win with his passing running. Both he and the 49ers offense and defense dismantled the Chargers 49-26

Steve Young finished out his career with the 49ers, but until
Please concussion closed out his career early.
